Solid, sturdy, and good quality. I bought two and they keep our cookies and our dogs cookies fresh longer than any jar prior tried. The clear glass looks great on any counter. Lid comes off and on with ease as supposed to. Now I want different sizes for other things.

Absolutely a great jar, big enough to serve as the flour canister i'm using it as, and the lid fits snuggly, to keep contents fresh.However, the carton said to NOT OPEN it, if you have any suspicion it is broken. The box was in pristine condition and there was no rattle. When i opened it, though, there WAS a huge chip on the inner rim of the lid. The chip, itself, was WEDGED under the silicone gasket so it *didn't* rattle. I was able to file down the edge enough to not be hazardously sharp and it doesn't compromise the seal so i kept it but i was very disappointed and felt a bit trapped by the "We TOLD you not to open it, if it arrived broken" labeling.

This cookie jar holds a lot and is attractive. However, found that the lid pops open often, thus compromising the freshness of the cookies.I thought maybe I wasn’t putting it tight until my pet sitter commented on it popping up also. The seal is firmly in place so I don’t know why this happens.
Great quality. Good weight and so far have held up nicely. They are being used to hold meaty dog treats (like jerky and the like) and they’ve stayed fresh just as if they were sealed in the bag. Works so much better since the ziplocks on the bags never seem to last and it’s quieter so you can sometimes even sneak the treat out of the jar before your doggo is up in your grill wanting that treat.
Great jar! Exactly what I needed! The jar itself is heavy and very sturdy. With it being a 1gallon jar it is capable of holding a good amount. The lid also seals everything and keeps it airtight and fresh.
