The wooden lid should never be submerged or put in the dishwasher; wipe it with a damp cloth, dry it right away, and occasionally treat it with food-safe mineral oil to protect the finish. Keep the silicone seal clean so the lid stays airtight.

The jars are absolutely wonderful. Each jar holds 5# of flour or whole large box of oatmeal; and they really look nice on my countertop and are so convenient. They are an excellent quality and are airtight. I was a little nervous when they arrived because the outer box was damaged . However they were packed extremely well inside , they were not damaged. I’m sure I will enjoy using them for a long time.
Love the jar but the lid broke 2 weeks after I bought it with just normal use
