Hand-wash the glass body in warm soapy water and rinse well. The most important step is the spigot: unscrew and disassemble it, wash the parts and the rubber washer separately, and run water through to clear any pulp or sugar so it never sticks or drips. Reassemble snugly to prevent leaks, and dry fully before storing.

Beautiful
Absolute junk. It comes with a pre-drilled hole in the glass and you have to assemble the faucet apparatus. I followed the instructions exactly and it leaked water, kept troubleshooting until I realized they simply drilled the hole slightly too big so no matter what there's going to be a leak. Into the garbage it goes!
great to pour water in from 5 gallon spring water jugs. love that it’s stainless steel parts and not plastic. it doesn’t leak and we’ve had it for several months now.
So far so good. Don't be FOOLED when it says "thick glass". Only the bottom part & the lid are thick. The actual body is thin. Making the lid super thick gives a fake impression that the whole dispenser is thick. Lid need NOT be that thick but the body should be for durability. So please be aware.
Arrived safely with no breakage. Straightforward directions installing the stainless steel spigot. However, no directions on how to install the screen and orange nut. Since I only use for home brewed distilled water, I dont need the strainer. Cons- the jar came with several deep scratches in the glass..debated whether I want to return. Most of the chalk arrived broken and in little pieces- a chalk pen would've been more useful. The other drawback is the jar slips around when I open and close the spigot, so I need to place it on a non slip mat if I want to use it single handed.
I originally bought this for a holiday party I was attending, but I have now used it multiple times over the past couple months and it’s perfect !! It doesn’t leak at all and is super easy to clean because of the wide top! I love this and will be using it for every get together I have !
