Hand-wash the glass jar in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly; avoid sudden temperature changes to protect the glass. Hand-wash and thoroughly dry the metal lid to prevent rust, and store it off the jar if putting the jar away for a long period.

My husband uses it to ferment cherries for six months, perfect size
Lids are weak but the glass jars are good for many uses
When I opened the UN-damaged box. Right off I noticed a dent in themetal white lid. This might be done from the manufacturer.Nor did the glass jar have made in America on the bottom of it. Which was my whole reason for ordering this.
Great for decor and storage
Quality - Working Great - Solid. Peace jw dot org
Great 1/2 gallon jar. We use it to make Sun Tea. Lid seals nicely; no leaks.
Great for my cucumber pickles
perfect size for anything
Perfect. I use this for sourdough starter and the size is exactly what I was looking for.
We use these all the time. For brewed coffee in the fridge. Storage on the counter. Soup in the fridge. Love these. Dishwasher safe
I use this jar for over-night oats and it is great! My only issue is that because it is so big, it is a little hard for me to get the lid off, so I cant screw it on tightly or else it gets stuck. That problem is specific to people with small hands though!
For me the jar was the perfect size for storage needs in my kitchen.
As expected - arrived on time
Love this jar for making yogurt in my 10 quart instant pot. I love that it has a metal lid so that I can put the lid on inside the pot and the yogurt won’t absorb any flavors from things that I have made in the pot.
I ordered this to keep lettuce fresh. It lasts a lot longer in a glass jar. I would buy this again. I wish it was a little larger but this one works fine.
Very good quality
These jars met my needs. They do not leak. I think they’re overpriced. I was on a tight schedule so bought them anyway. I need more but will search for a better price before buying these again.
I never thought glass jars and lettuce would make such a great team—but they do! After washing and drying lettuce leaves, I store them sealed in a glass jar, and surprisingly, they’ve stayed fresh for over a month. These are perfect for storing lettuce due to the larger size than a quart jar. Due to the wide-mouth, they are easy to clean, I just throw them in my dishwasher. Quality seems good, the lid screws on as it should and stays tight. If you haven't stored your lettuce in glass jars, I highly suggest to research the steps and to start!
I got these because they were recommended when looking into water glassing some of our fresh eggs. When they came in, the first thing I noticed is that these jars are really sturdy, and seem well made. The lids also have a built in silicone seal that works well without needing anything additional. I just wish they came in other sizes so we could try them for other types of canning. When water glassing, I was able to fit over a dozen eggs (13-15) in each jar. I’ve also used them for making homemade pickled eggs so far. These would also work well for dry storage of just about anything else in the kitchen (tea, rice, beans, etc) where you’d want a good, airtight seal. Well worth the cost for what you get.
